This guide lists essential sources for researching the North American Free Trade Agreement system.

USMCA or NAFTA 2.0

On November 30, 2018, the United States, Mexico and Canada signed the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), a modernization of  NAFTA . The USMCA came into force on July 1, 2020.

The USMCA is referred to as the Canada-United-States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) in Canada and Tratado entre Mexico, Estados Unidos y Canada (T-MEC) in Mexico.
