Linking to Lexis Resources

Lexis

Note: Students will be prompted for a Lexis password before proceeding to the document.

URLs to Lexis documents  MAY NOT be copied and pasted from the address box of the page when you are viewing the document.  They are constructed using a template, into which you plug in the elements of a Lexsee command, for cases and articles, or a Lexstat command, for statutes, as follows:

  1. Go to: http://lawschool.lexis.com and login

  2. Get to the case, statute, regulation or article using your desired means of searching

  3. Click  the Copy with Cite link near the top center of the document title.  A new box will pop up

  4. Right click on the link and left click Copy link location.

  5. You can now past this link into Blackboard
