NAFTA texts & citations

The North American Free Trade Agreement ("NAFTA") was signed on December 17, 1992. The U.S. signed the environmental and labor side agreements on September 14,1993. The NAFTA entered into force on January 1, 1994, and suspended the U.S.-Canada Free Trade Agreement ("CFTA," 27 I.L.M. 281 (1988), in force 1989).
