UN and League of Nations treaties are listed under two separate tables that provide status, citation, parties, declarations/understandings, dates, etc. Subsequent related instruments are listed under the same number as the original treaty, with a letter added to the number, e.g., 3 and 3.a. MTDSG also provides the text of any reservations and declarations made by the parties. MTDSG does not provide citations to the national treaty sources of individual parties.

The chronological index goes back to 1929 and lists subsequent actions to bilateral and multilateral treaties, including amendments, extensions, modifications, etc.
