The NYU Law Library, located at 40 Washington Square South (Vanderbilt Hall), consists of the Main Reading Room on the first floor of Vanderbilt Hall, 2 basement levels in Vanderbilt Hall, 2 basement levels under Sullivan Street, and a basement level under Furman Hall.
The collection, historically regarded as among the deepest research collections in the world, includes substantial primary and secondary sources for U.S., International, and New York laws. The library maintains both print and electronic sources, described here, and in other guides available to you.
This guide provides links to a variety of databases, several of which are limited to NYU Law faculty and students. Information for NYU Law students and faculty on obtaining passwords for WestlawNext, Lexis Advance and Bloomberg is available here.
Congratulations and welcome to NYU School of Law!
