    Finding Cases

Law students, and lawyers, often need to find case law to support their research and arguments.  There are many ways to find relevant case law, depending on the information and resources available to the researcher.  Once you have found a relevant case, it may be used to find additional cases relevant to your topic.

This section will focus on finding federal case law, with a separate page dedicated to state law cases.  In some instances, there may be overlap.
