How do I submit an ILL request for a book?

Before submitting an ILL request, you should attempt to locate print or digital copies through the NYU Law School Library catalog and Bobst's catalog.

Login to your ILLiad account.

 

(If you do not have an account, please complete the one-time registration form to create a username and password.)

From the "New Request" list, select "Book." 

Enter as much citation information as possible such as the title, author(s), year of publication, etc... 

If you are able to provide the IBSN or ISSN information, this will help expedite the ILL process. 

 

Click "Submit Request" to complete your submission. 

If you are requesting additional materials: you need to submit a new ILLiad request for each item needed. 

How do I submit a request for a scan of an article or book chapter?

Before submitting an ILL request, you should attempt to locate print or digital copies through the NYU Law School Library catalog and Bobst's catalog.

Login to your ILLiad account.

(If you do not have an account, please complete the one-time registration form and create a username and password.)

From the "New Request" list, select "Article" or "Book Chapter"  to receive a PDF copy.  If you need a physical book, item or material, please submit a request for a book.  (See How do I submit an ILL request for a book?)

If you are not sure of the type of material you are requesting, choose "Article."

Enter as much citation information as possible such as the title, author(s), year of publication, etc... 

If you are able to provide the IBSN or ISSN information, this will help expedite the ILL process.
