Data is personal. This year, we are focused on learning about data equity and inclusion, disciplinary communities, and creating a kinder world through data.

NYU Law Library invites you to participate in Library training sessions over Love Data Week:

  • TDM Studio Demo - Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 2pm ET  
    • TDM Studio is a text and data mining solution for research, teaching and learning. TDM Studio provides access to millions of rights-cleared publications to enable timely interrogation using text analysis and visualization tools. With exclusive access to news, dissertations, and primary sources in a consistent XML format, text and data mining can unearth ground-breaking insights for more researchers. In this demo, ProQuest will provide a general overview of the TDM Studio platform using the Congressional Hearings text-as-data collection.
  • Bloomberg Terminal Training Session -  Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 2pm ET 
    • Bloomberg is a global fintech company that provides industry-leading business and financial information, news and insight. In this session, students will gain unique exposure to the Bloomberg Terminal, a cutting-edge fintech tool. By the end of this session, you will: Learn Bloomberg Terminal basics and Gain a fundamental understanding of how the Terminal fits into the financial markets
